Downtown Downey
In 2018, a coalition of Downtown Downey property owners took a proactive step by forming the Downtown Downey Community Benefit District. This initiative aimed to revitalize the area by supporting local businesses, coordinating engaging community events, and promoting the district to residents and visitors alike. Operating as a non-profit 501c3 organization, the Downtown Downey Improvement Association (DDIA) spearheads these efforts, fostering a vibrant and thriving community hub for all stakeholders involved.
